Atlantis is located under the ice in Antarctica.

In the Bermuda Triangle. Why else would all the freaky things you hear happen there?
May 26th, 2010 at 9:23 am
Lisa – I like the Bermuda Triangle idea!
May 26th, 2010 at 7:54 pm
It’s in northern Georgia. No wait, that’s Atlanta.
Atlantis lies beyond the Pillars of Hercules.

I believe that Atlantis was an island country in the southern area of the Atlantic Ocean. If Atlantis is found, I believe that it will surely gain alot of worthy news attention and could cause underground agencies to act out as they do in the book. Thanks for the opportunity.

I think it might be somewhere off the coast of Crete. If found, the storyline probably would not be plausible, but it’s fun to think about the implausible, isn’t it?
May 31st, 2010 at 5:20 pm
What I said above. I’m sticking with it, at least until tomorrow!
June 2nd, 2010 at 8:28 am
It’s gotta be in the Bermuda Triangle!
June 2nd, 2010 at 9:55 am
Sticking with the Crete theory (see previous entries). Thanks.

Atlantis was the Azores found in ancient times and then, not sunk, but merely lost.
June 2nd, 2010 at 1:50 pm
Atlantis? – Under the Atlantic. There are probably mysteries to be found under the Meditteranean as well. I find the idea of ancient conspiracies that reach high levels of governments only too possible.
June 3rd, 2010 at 10:08 am
Still sticking with somewhere off Crete, still thinking implausible if found, but that it’s fun to think about the implausible. Thanks.

In my opinion it is deep under the Pacific Ocean, long forgotten. It would be interesting to see how archeologues and marina biologist would accidentally stumble upon proofs of its existence.
June 3rd, 2010 at 3:23 pm
In the Mediterranean. And, no to the second part, though it’s fun to think about possible conspiracies.
June 3rd, 2010 at 8:59 pm
I am going to say under the Pacific Ocean.
June 4th, 2010 at 5:40 pm
Okay, I’m tempted to repeat Crete, but I’ll say somewhere off the coast of Asia Minor. Though I don’t think a discovery would gibe with some theories out there, it’s still fun to think about possibilities. Thanks.
June 4th, 2010 at 10:16 pm
I will say it’s located in the dead sea and as for the story line I think anything is possible.

Tonight, I asked my 10 year old son about this. After careful and thoughtful consideration, he came up with Crete, so I guess I’ll go back to Crete and also say that it wouldn’t gibe with any theories, but conclude that that is really not a big deal. It’s what happens in our imagination that’s important. Thanks.
June 7th, 2010 at 7:26 am
I think it is in the Artic. Storyline could happen!
June 7th, 2010 at 1:07 pm
Yeah, I’m back with Crete, at least for the duration of the contest. Thanks.
June 7th, 2010 at 2:16 pm
I think it’s in Antarctica – looking forward to reading the book!
June 7th, 2010 at 5:04 pm
Off the coast of Greece. I don’t think the story sounds plausible.
June 7th, 2010 at 5:22 pm
Off the coast of Greenland. Look forward to reading the book!

Just to the Northeast of the kneecap of Central America; unfortunately, most of that civilization was vaporized by the asteroid impact which killed off all the dinosaurs (which was NOT necessarily the dominant civilization at the time). Might be too long ago (69 million years or so) but makes a good story, anyway…
The other distinct possibility was that it was spread across the floor of the Mediterranian basin, back before the Straits of Gibralter turned into a waterfall and finally (after the basin was filled) became a viable (13 kilometer wide) sea passage. Would explain a lot of things, including Flood mythos, etc…
June 8th, 2010 at 1:19 am
I think it is off where the bermuda triangle is or is by there and yes I think the story is very plausible you just never know
June 8th, 2010 at 9:06 am
Atlantis is in the Bahamas. I’ve been there! Wonderful time had by all. Also, Atlantis is the city formerly known as the capital of Georgia until global warming caused it to be sunken under the rising ocean tides!
June 8th, 2010 at 9:23 am
I’ll venture from my earlier answers and speculate that Atlantis was off Alexandria in Egypt. Again, theories about Atlantis probably wouldn’t gibe with any real Atlantis that may be found, but we can always use our imagination. Thanks.

I have always belived it was under Greese
