I noticed that you haven’t decided to read the percy jackson books until now which all of them would have made the youth list.
WOW 143 books in 2009 I try more every year and 2009 was my highest # yet but nowhere near your number/32.
but Ihope to read even more this year.

I always think I’ve done well with my reading, until I see your list! Thanks for some pointers, I think I’ll try The 13th Hour when that’s available in the UK.

I LOVED Red-Headed Stepchild too. That probably should have made the list as well.

Two of my favorites for 2009 were Jaye Wells’ Red-Headed Stepchild and Gail Carringer’s Soulless. Both were really great debut books from authors that I’m eagerly awaiting more from.

I definitely recommend putting them at the top of the list. I read the first 1 about 2 years ago, and just tore through the whole series.
