I gotta admit that in spite of the fact that I grew up a Trekkie I've been lukewarm about the most recent movies and I stopped watching the TV shows after TNG... And just announced coming from the writers of the new Trek movie and being released from IDW Comics is Star Trek Countdown that will link Post-Nemesis Next Generation to the new movie.
