Christmas Came Early!

I know that I receive a lot of review copies, but this was a special treat. I just received a box from Shadow Mountain Publishing. Enclosed were several children’s books: Fablehaven, The Candy Shop War, The 13th Reality: The Journal of Curious Letters, and Leven Thumps and the Gateway to Foo. I’ve been looking for something to fill the absence of new Harry Potter novels…
All have incredibly gorgeous covers! I can’t wait to dig into these!

Ohh! They sent me 13th Reality too
. I’m looking forward to getting into that one. I’m a huge fan of the Leven Thumps books. Hopefully you’ll like the first book because it is quite good indeed.
I can’t wait to see what you think of the others that I have yet to read too. That’s an awesome Xmas present. Review copies rule don’t they?

SMD – I’m glad to hear you enjoy them! And yes, I feel incredibly lucky to receive review copies of books! It’s like fuel for my addiction.. I mean hobby.
DesLily – Cool! 13th Reality isn’t out yet.. That one is an ARC, and will release in March. But maybe you can get your hands on a review copy as well!

I got an advanced copy of the 13th Reality too. I am on page 330. It is pretty good. I have not read any young adult books in a while. The story is well done. I will be doing a post on it when I am done.

I saw the Leven Thumps one at my store. I should have picked it up, I really should have, but I didn’t. Well…I guess that’s what Amazon is for!
